Week 6 Recap

Last year I started 0-7. This year I'm going for 7-0. Let's Get It!

I whooped #imserious ThisYear, nothing really to say there. Team Falese got back in it with a win over Sauce'n Ain't Easy, thanks a ton to Ahmad Bradshaw. My Vick in a Box held off The Blackhole Black, I can't lie I was rooting for Wes Welker to catch the game winning TD. Ha Ha. Child Please beat VA Bum Smashers in what turned out to be a laugher. Guess Trev has his priorities in line going with the potential jinx of the Redskins against his grounded Eagles and it worked out. We got terrible Rex (-2.7) with a new record low fantasy QB performance. And finally we have Chocolate Starfish getting on a roll with his win over The Burg YUH8ME. He is now securely in the playoff picture. I went 3-2 this week in my predictions and I am now 15-10 on the season.

C’mon Man:
There weren't very many bad moves this week but a couple teams standout.

VA Bum Smashers - I get it your real life team sucks, Your fantasy team isn't doing much better. Personal pride vs. a Monetary Prize...

The Blackhole Black - When is Darren Sproles a better option than Rashard Mendenhall? NEVER! Not to mention Jacoby Ford and Devin Hester having good games on your bench.

Week 5 Recap

Another week, another W... Leggo!

And for the third week in a row my game came down to the wire, in fact it came down to the very last drive in the Monday night game. Good thing Cutler was tired of getting pounded. However, my game was not the only one that was dependent on the Monday night game. The matchup between The Blackhole Black and Child Please and the matchup between Chocolate Starfish and VA Bum Smashers did as well. Thanks to a big run by Best late in the game The Blackhole Black held off Child Please by .7 points! Wow! And thanks to a subpar Bears defensive performance Chocolate Starfish held off VA Bum Smashers to get his first W! I know how you feel man, took me until week 8 last year to get my first win. My Vick in a Box smashes Team Falese, the new Team Mauldin (y'all remember her?), who once again bared the burden of bad luck with her team, and The Burg YUH8ME beat #imserious ThisYear who proves to not be that serious after all. I went 3-2 with my predictions this week and that makes me 12-8 on the season.

C’mon Man:
Last week we asked the people if they would have sat Arian Foster. This week lets ask the people this, If you have a team with WRs who are struggling and you just so happen to pick up a good one in Free Agency would you sit that guy on the bench? No? An even better question, How many people not from Minnesota or Colorado have ever heard of Eric Decker? No one? Yeah that's what I thought. Child Please you lost the game because you left 29.5 points on your bench by not play Pierre Garcon and instead you got -0.4 points for being a homer. That's a big fat C'MON MAAAANNN!!! And not to mention Willis McGahee's 19.5 you also left on the bench.

Team Falese I'm putting you on here just because for the second week in a row your QB got negative points. I think this is a first in the history of fantasy sports. You should be proud. Also you've managed to go from top 5 power rankings to last place...

Ya Mom's House #Boom - BGE had a big day and is the reason I won my matchup.

The Burg YUH8ME - Victor Cruz turned out to be a good pick up. Without him you lose your matchup.

The Blackhole Black - Jahvid Best. If the bears could have stopped him 8 yards short on any of his big runs Monday night you don't win your matchup. Nice performance.

Fantasy Football Week 4 Recap

And what do you know… guess who's still undefeated!!!

And it was another nail biter weekend for me as it took until late in the 4th quarter of the Monday night game before I officially won my matchup this week. The other guy wasn't so lucky as My Vick in a Box lost his first game of the season to The Burg YUH8ME thanks to Aaron Rodgers' 4 passing td's and 2 rushing. All I can say is Karma's a Beotch! In the other match ups Team Falese handed VA Bum Smashers a win with some questionable roster decisions, #imserious ThisYear is back to losing as Child Please took advantage of a "questionable hamstring", and in my one lost prediction this week Sauce'n Ain't Easy beat The Blackhole Black thanks to Mike Vick finally showing up and the Patriots finding a running game. I was 4-1 this week in my predictions so that makes me 9-6 on the season. I'm getting better at this.

This week is going to be a little more difficult as teams start to have their bye weeks. Time to get creative with your acquisitions folks!

C’mon Man:

Team Falese - Whoever told you to pick up Chad Henne and to put him in the starting lineup slap them and defined them in real life. I could have got you -0.8 points! Had you left Kyle Orton in alone you would have only lost by 2 points. Had you not played sorry ass Denario Alexander and played almost anyone else on your bench you would have WON the game!!!

#imserious ThisYear - Had Team Falese not thoroughly eff up, you would have been on here all by your lonesome.  Let's ask the people. "Hey people would you definitely start Danny Woodhead and Mark Ingram over Arian Foster?" No? How about even after the training staff said he shouldn't have anymore hamstring problems? Still No? I thought so… Single handedly the reason why you lost the game.
