Week 6 Recap

Rosie Palmers vs. Catcha Fade – Catcha Fade won 105.4 to 89.4. -4 from my defense and 14.9 combined from 3 running backs is the recipe for an L. Congrats to Catcha Fade though. The return of CJ Spiller and Andy Dalton lead to a much needed victory.

Team birdsinthekitch vs. Sauce’n Ain’t Easy – Sauce’n Ain’t Easy won 101.8 to 65.7. The moral here is backups are backups. Cedric Benson and Donald Brown both were injured last week. So… birdsinthekitch grabs their backups and the get 12.5… combined. Oh and you didn’t learn your lesson on starting multiple receivers from the same team. You should have picked up Antonio Gates. HaHa.

The Blackhole Black vs. Red Hot Julius Peppers – Red Hot Julius Peppers won 102.5 to 81.9. On a weekend where The Blackhole gets maximum production from all of her skill positions and kicker she still manages to lose the game. How? Her QB and Defense had below average performances. She can’t catch a break. On another note, Jordy Nelson was a fantasy stud that was unnoticed in our league this week with 35.1 chillin on Red Hot Julius Peppers’ bench.

Child Please vs. TP CharlieSheening – TP CharlieSheening won 129.7 to 123.2. Down goes the lone undefeated! This was probably the most thrilling matchup I’ve seen ever. We went from assuming, based on average performances, that Child Please would win going into Sunday night with TP only having Aaron Rodgers left and a score of 73.5 to 56.3 (Child Please had Arian Foster, Manning, Decker and Prater left at this point). Then BOOM Rodgers puts up 56.2 and now we assume TP will win easily. Then in the 4th quarter of the Monday night game Decker catches a 28 yard pass or so which would have put him over 100 yards and thus earning the 5 point bonus plus the 2.8 for the yardage and Child Please wins by fractions of a point! Except there was an offensive pass interference called on Decker! HaHaHaHa! Decker finished the game with 98 yards and Child Please takes his first L.

Chocolate Starfish vs. The Burg YUH8ME – Chocolate Starfish won 140.8 to 64.7. FINALLY!!!! Now everyone has a win. The story here is that Shonne Green absolutely exploded on the Colts for 39.1 points. Starfish also got big numbers from multiple positions which he hasn’t had all season. However, this week he would have won regardless with the horrible showing YUH8ME’s players put out and the fact that RG 3 was a bench stud as well this week with 42.1.

No undefeated and no totally defeateds. ***NEWS FLASH*** trade deadline is Wednesday. Trades must be accepted by both parties by noon eastern on Wednesday!
