Today we honor the life of the late great Notorious BIG, aka Biggie Smalls, aka Big Poppa, aka The Black Frank White, aka ah nevermind u get the point. Hit the jump for a fun fact.
On this day 14 years ago one of the greatest, if not THE greatest, hip hop artists of all time was killed in a drive by shooting in LA. Some so called musical establishments, *cough* MTV *cough*, have the nerve to put him as low as number 3 on their all time list. MTV, you should be ashamed. Since this is Stump The Doctor we gotta leave you with a lesser known fact about the man:
FACT - The Notorious BIG did not like to be called Biggie. In fact before he passed he got on a strict no carb diet and exercise regiment. This was working so well that he was going to release an instructional DVD entitled Getting the Biggies Small. (Ok I just made that up)
Here's to living out your dreams. Tomorrow's never promised. Let's not walk in the footsteps of those that came before us, but rather pick up where they left off and make our own footprints.
